A takedown desk that leads with the truth of the case.

Obscura was founded in 2018 to do content removal properly. Too much of this industry sells forged notices and guaranteed miracles that expose the client and get pages reinstated. We built the opposite: a desk that assesses what's actually true, routes each case to the fastest lawful path, and tells you plainly when the honest answer is suppression, not removal.

Who handles your case

EW

Eleanor Whitfield

Eleanor read law with a focus on media and defamation before spending eight years removing damaging content for individuals and companies. She founded Obscura on a single principle: the right route matters more than the loudest threat. A forged DMCA or a bluffed lawsuit gets a page reinstated and a client exposed; a correctly evidenced policy complaint or a genuine legal notice gets it removed. Eleanor triages every case against what is actually true, then picks the channel most likely to work — and says plainly when the honest answer is suppression rather than removal.

Tomás Vidal

Tomás spent a decade in technical SEO before moving into reputation work, where the same mechanics run in reverse: instead of ranking a page, you de-rank or de-index it. He handles Obscura's search-engine removal requests, prepares 'right to be forgotten' filings for eligible European cases, and builds the owned, authoritative content that suppresses a result Google won't remove. He is the person who will tell you honestly when a true news article can only be pushed down, not taken off the record.

Three rules we don't break

The right route, not the loudest threat

A forged DMCA or bluffed lawsuit gets a page reinstated and a client exposed. We match the route to the facts.

We tell you what can't come down

Truthful journalism, public records, and protected opinion can be suppressed — not removed. We say so before you pay.

Confidential, and no dark patterns

No guaranteed-removal claims, no crypto-only upfront demands, and we never ask for your account passwords.

Send us the link. We'll tell you honestly whether it comes down.

Every case starts with a private review: we look at the content, tell you which route can work — platform policy, DMCA, legal notice, right to be forgotten, or suppression — and give you a plain assessment before any commitment.
